Day 2
Day 2 (Hours: 9-12, 1-4 = 6 Hours)
I woke up this morning around 9 and got started right away on corrections for my email I am going to send to the girls I am interviewing. I also added to the email my contact information, currently my mentor Pam and I are brainstorming ways the girls can sign up for times to interview as some of them live in different time zones. I worked on finalizing this email till 12. Pam will be sending out the email later tonight. I took a break for lunch, then after lunch I began researching consent forms for the girls to sign before I interview them. It is important I find a consent form that is research based. My mentor sent me a few consent forms that I looked over. I researched consent forms and found one from Trinity College and Cornell University. I ended my day by having a call with Pam to check up on what I completed for today and setting goals for tomorrow and this week. Today the email will be sent out to the girls I am interviewing and my consent form was completed and will be sent out today as well. One goal I hope to meet is I would love to be able to finish all interviews and receive the questionnaire responses by Monday May 15th. So I can begin writing blog posts! Today was also busy but I am so excited to begin these interviews.
